anatomy, technique and safe practise - The singing teacher’s guide - ONLY £49!!!
Welcome to The Crafted Voices’ ‘Singing Teacher’s Guide’, your 13 step series designed to give you the tools to safely coach children and adult singers.
Private 1-2-1 singing teaching is an unregulated minefield, and quite often the techniques which we were taught by our coaches 10/20/30 years ago, which might work for us, are outdated, lack any anatomy and physiology background or just down right wrong!
When we work with a client we are being entrusted with their voice, the most delicate instrument, and it is our job to ensure their vocal safety through our on continued professional development and learning.
In this programme we will discuss:
Head and neck tension
Posture and alignment
Breath work
The ‘Accent Method’
Tongue root tension and jaw release
Safe warm ups
Adding lyrics to breath (finding the natural tone)
Adding emotion through ‘Primal Sound’ (Sigh, Whimper, Cry)
Acting through song
How to progress the client
Troubleshooting common issues
Accompaniment and admin
The videos are intended as a guide for you to form your own style of teaching from, using the safe practise techniques displayed.
